We built the gear we wished existed for our own trail dogs.
Pilo gear started on the trails around Bend, Oregon. Our founders — obsessive hikers with equally obsessive dogs — kept running into the same problem: dog packs that wobbled, chafed, or fell apart on the second trip out. So we built our own.
Every product is trail-tested over 200+ miles before it earns the Pilo name. We work with a small team of field testers and their dogs in the Pacific Northwest, the Rockies, and the Texas Hill Country.
